Is Self Discipline A Dominant or Submissive Trait?

While I'd agree that a Dominant woman is more likely to be disciplined, it's also the case that submissive types can be disciplined in their habits and behaviour.

Discipline is a choice.

Do you find highly controlled and disciplined woman sexy? Because it's likely that a D-type woman (Dominant) is disciplined ... after all control is in her very nature and that likely includes control over her own behaviour and not just yours only.

Now given that you find it sexy and an appealing character trait, do you perhaps think that a Dominant women looking for a submissive man, will want the same qualities in him?

Submission is no excuse for weakness and lack of personal discipline. Only disciplined men make good submissives. Being in service to a Dominant woman is hard work, and succeeding at following her rules, and completing her tasks is only possible if you are a disciplined man.

If you struggle with self control, you cannot follow difficult orders from a regimented and disciplined woman. Further reading at Impulse Control Issues And Your Submissive.

She has high expectations - and so serving her is not going to be easy; it's in fact going to be difficult and hard work. Thus you cannot become her permanent submissive slave until you learn to work hard and follow challenging rules.

Those rules are for the benefit of both of you, and the household overall (and the basis of a successful FLR home for those who want that).

You want this sort of woman in your life? You want an FLR perhaps?

If so you need to become more like her first before you can win her hand. You need to become strong and disciplined. Once you achieve that, you can offer your submission to her control.

Why submit once you have become strong yourself?

Because as strong and disciplined as you become, you will likely never eclipse Her and you will need to her constant support and control to maintain your discipline.

Plus submission is a choice, and has nothing to do with whether a person is 'stronger' or 'strong', it's about personal preferences; about whether you prefer to lead or to follow.
